The small tour at the lakeside of Kastoria is a daily escape for the locals and a “must” choice for the visitors of the town.

The route starts at the building of the Regional Unit of Kastoria. From the main square with the fountain, you can go south to the north beach and the Van Fleet Square.

Although anyone can take the tour of the lakeside all year round, we strongly suggest to try it on Autumn. In this season the nature is filled with the gold, red and brown colours of the trees.

The huge plane trees, the picturesque boats and the birds compose an admirable natural landscape. What is more, the combination of the mountain and the lake view will excite you!
