GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE
Visitwestmacedonia.gr (hereinafter referred to as the “Catalog”) shall agree to the following terms of use, which apply to all the listed content, pages, graphics, images, photos and files. You must therefore read these terms carefully before visiting or using the Directory pages and services. If you do not agree, you must not use the contents of the Catalog. Guest / user is requested to check the content of these pages for possible changes. Continue to visit/use the Catalog even after any changes mean that the visitor/user accepts these terms unreservedly.
Visitwestmacedonia.gr is the interactive platform of the West Macedonia Tourism Company, which aims to promote tourism in the region. The site projects a complete information package, and the main purpose is to highlight the beautiful mountainous, the unique water wealth in lakes and rivers, our rich cultural heritage and the activities of the four regional entities in WestMacedonia.
In addition, it acts as a know-how provider for the parties involved (e.g. hotels and tourism enterprises) via the B2B Information page.
Intellectual and industrial property rights
In addition to the expressly mentioned exceptions (copyright of third parties,affiliates and operators), all content of the Catalog, including images, graphics,photographs, drawings, texts, services provided and all files of this Internet site in general, shall constitute intellectual property, registered trade marks and service marks on the Catalog and shall be protected in accordance with the relevant provisions of Greek law of European law and international conventions (TradeMark Number ………………………..)……………..)…… …). Therefore, none of them maybe exploited, sold, copied, modified, reproduced, republished or ‘loaded’,transmitted or distributed in any way without our prior written permission.
It shall be prohibited, without our prior written permission, to use, exploit, publish, republish, reproduce, copy, mechanically or otherwise, by editing or without, the content of the Catalog and the services provided therein.
Any processing of the contents of the Catalog, including in particular decompression of the software contained therein, or any processing of the source code, and databases shall be strictly prohibited regardless of whether access has been granted and/or a limited license.
This excludes the case of the individual storage of a single copy of the content in a simple computer (computer) staff strictly for personal and not public or commercial use and without deleting their indication of origin from the Catalog, without in any way affecting the relevant intellectual and industrial property rights.
Where users have access to streaming media services, it shall be strictly or by any technical method prohibited from storing the stream in local media of all forms, in whole or in part, in the same or other sound or image file format (e.g. wav, wma, mp3, mpeg, etc.) which exists today or will be invented in the future.
It shall also be prohibited to extract and save from the Catalog on local media(mechanical or electronic) photographs, logos, texts, animations, gifs, sounds,images in general, static or animations, etc., unless expressly permitted and to the extent expressly permitted, on each particular site/subpage.
The other products or services listed on the electronic pages of this List andbearing the marks of the respective organizations, companies, operators’associates, associations or publications, displayed associations are their ownintellectual and industrial property and therefore these entities provide a relevantauthorization which the visitor/user is required to seek from them.
Guest / User Responsibility
The guest/user of the pages and services of the Catalog shall be prohibited from violating, with or without intent, any local, national, European, international legislation and/or any rule which has legislative effect and concerns and/or covers any service on the Catalog.
The guest/user of the pages and services of the Catalog assumes responsibility for any damage caused in the Catalog by misuse or misuse of the services concerned.
Limit Liability for use of the Directory.
The Catalog does not provide services for remuneration or for remuneration to the visitor/user of the Catalog.
All Catalog services offered to guests/users are provided free of charge and are offered on the Catalog.
Under any circumstances, including any negligence, the Catalog shall not be liable for any damage suffered by the visitor/user of the services, products, options, information, results or content of the Catalog to which he or she is acting on his or her own initiative, responsibility and knowledge of the terms of this Catalog.
The contents of the Catalog are provided “exactly as they are” without any guarantee expressed or/or implied in any way. To the maximum extent and in accordance with the law, the List denies all guarantees expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, those, which imply the marketability of the products or services it provides and the suitability for a particular purpose.
Under no circumstances shall the List be liable for any legal or civil and/or criminalclaims or for any damage (positive, specific or exponential, indicative and notrestrictive, intermittent and/or cumulatively consisting of loss of profits, data, lostprofits, pecuniary satisfaction, etc.) from List visitors/users or third parties forreasons related to the operation or non-use of the List and/or the failure to provideservices and/or information made available by it and/or any unauthorized thirdparty intervention in products and/or services and/or information made availabledirectly from the List.
The content of the Catalog is entertainment and not informative and constitutes an offer to the visitor and generally to the Internet user community and may not under any circumstances be considered as valid information and/or advice and/or prompts, nor do they conceal in any way any incitement or deterrence to the undertaking or non-specific acts, the purchase or use of products and services by whoever they are provided. In no case does the list guarantee the integrity,completeness, adequacy and general appropriateness of the content and theabsence of any errors, all the more so because of its large volume.
The Catalog does not guarantee that pages, products, services, options, and contents will be provided without interruption, without error, and errors will be corrected. Nor does the Catalog guarantee that the same or any other related site or “servers” through which they are made available to guests/users are provided without “viruses” or other harmful ingredients.
The Catalog, which provides free and search results, in no way guarantees the correctness, completeness, availability, or order of display of content search results or pages, entries, services, and options, as it does not in any way check the content or correctness of the content or relevance of the search results.
The Catalog assumes no responsibility if any of the information/ content/products/ services included in the List or search results prove incorrect or incorrect. The cost of any fix ups or servicings, is borne by the visitor/user and in no way the Directory.
Advertisements of any kind may be included or included in the Catalog in thefuture. The list does not control and therefore has no responsibility for the content,correctness and accuracy of advertisements wherever they appear or refer and bywhoever they are offered.
It shall be noted that existing products and any new products or services included in the list are subject to these conditions of use, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Limitation of liability for the use of third party services (entries – advertisements) displayed in the List
The Catalog may still appear in random or predefined spots or a series of advertisements or advertisements of third parties.
The Catalog has no control obligation whatsoever and does not check the content of the information/ products/ services provided by registered or advertisers in the Catalog and is available to the visitor/user. Before sending requests or consulting third parties displayed or advertised in the Catalog, the user must check on his own means and responsibility the correctness/accuracy/completeness of the agreement and the correctness/completeness of the information/products/services provided by them.The List does not know or can become aware of the goods or services offered by third parties and of the arrangements between the guest/user and them, nor does it know and/or participate in negotiations or presentations or transactions between the user/guest and them and is therefore not involved in any way and is not responsible for any transaction or damage caused by the relationships between the viewed/advertiser and user/visitor.
It is possible for the guest/user to find information from registered or advertisedpersons that may be unpleasant, harmful, inaccurate, or misleading. The use of any broadcast via the Register of Registration or Advertisements shall be the sole responsibility of the visitor/user. Please use them with caution, common sense and make secure commercial transactions when using entries provided by viewers or advertisers in the Catalog. Please bear in mind that there are also risks of dealing with minors or people with misleading information, or who are not legitimised to represent their alleged legal persons, whose identity, accuracy of statements and intentions we are in no way verifying or securing.
Therefore, the guest/user of the Directory recognises and accepts unreservedly that the persons registered or advertised in the Catalog are third parties to the Catalog and that, using any of their services displayed in the List, the guest/user acts on his own initiative, and assumes the responsibility for cross-checking the information provided/products/services provided by them and the correctness, accuracy and completeness of the information provided to him.
Apart from viewing the post/advertisement, no transaction between user/guest and registered or advertised takes place within the Catalog. That is why, after selecting (clicking) each advertisement or choosing a transition to the registering user’s website, the guest user is automatically moved off the Catalog.
The guest/user of the Catalog explicitly accepts that any reference and/or reference to third parties does not imply any explicit or implicit acceptance/prompt or commitment of the Catalog, or in any case offer to a sale or service or reservation of the List for an agreement to provide any related service. The Catalog is in no way bound to any third party or third party service and does not act as a direct or indirect seller or reseller of services offered by them or invites the guest/user to conclude any contract with them.
The Catalog is not responsible for views / opinions / placements / messages /publications / information of third party services or products wherever they are expressed / displayed in the Catalog. Immediately any user who believes that he or she is being personally or more generally affected may contact the administrators of the Catalog and complain by sending an e-mail to visitwestmacedonia(at)gmail.com or via the form available on our website under the”communication” heading.
Newsletter
Newsletter is sent only to guests/users who have chosen to receive a newsletterand are technically fully compatible with mail dispatch regulations. The Catalog allows users of the Newsletter service to be removed from the recipient list. The newsletter is entered and deleted by means of an authenticity check of the subscriber’s e-mail address (opt-in, opt-out).
E-mails from users of the Newsletter service shall be used exclusively for this purpose and for no other purpose. When a subscriber chooses to delete it fromthe recipient list, their email is permanently deleted.
The newsletters which the public receives by entering the mailing lists are intellectual property on the Catalog and are therefore protected by the relevant provisions of Greek law and international conventions. The Directory reserves theright not to write or delete a person from the recipient lists.
‘Links’ to other Websites
The Catalog does not control the availability, content, privacy policy, quality and completeness of the services of other websites and pages to which it refers via”links”, hyperlinks or banners advertisements. Therefore, any problem encountered during the visit/use, the guest/user should address directly to the respective web sites and pages, which are responsible for the provision of their services. The Catalog should under no circumstances be considered to embraceor accept the content or services of the web sites and pages to which it refers, orto be linked in any other way.
Links to the Catalog
“Links” to the Catalog are only allowed to the free pages in the Catalog and not to the pages that have (where applicable) a password, unless there is an explicit agreement between the Catalog and its reference. In any case, links are onlyallowed by placing an active link in the direction of the Catalog.
Applicable law and other conditions
The List reserves the right to unilaterally amend the content of all conditions of use without any obligation to give notice. For this reason, the visitor/user of the Catalog must visit them frequently to obtain information about it. The above terms and conditions of use of the Catalog and any amendment, change or change there of shall be governed and supplemented by Greek law, EuropeanUnion law and the relevant international treaties, and the competent courts shall be competent to resolve any dispute arising between the Directory and a guest/user. Any provision of the above conditions which is contrary to the law shall automatically cease to be valid and shall be deducted from this provision, in no case shall the validity of the other conditions be affected.
This is the comprehensive agreement between the Catalog and the visitor/user of its pages and is binding only on them. No amendment to these conditions shall betaken into account and shall not form part of this Agreement unless it has beenmade in writing and incorporated into it.
